Welcome to this bilingual (Swedish-English) group blog by family members living on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, "the pond". Our interests range from the scientific to the eclectic, including gourmet food, horses, art and literature, computers, species in nature, history and iron, and photography. Three generations are posting here.
Living in lighthouse, now that would be a tiny place, but maybe you might have lots of space for bookshelves?

Yes, but your reading lamp would have a, I imagine, quite disturbing low frequency flicker... ;)
Didn't the Moomintrolls live in a lighthouse in one of the books? "Pappan och havet"? Not that it would make much difference to them, their ordinary circular tower-house resembles a lighthouse a lot.
Yes, they lived in a lighthouse in "Moominfather and the sea" and the Moomin mom longed so much for her garden that she painted it on the white walls. One day she stepped into the picture and disappered. I think they met her when they returned home, waiting in her garden, but I don´t know for sure.
