Welcome to this bilingual (Swedish-English) group blog by family members living on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, "the pond". Our interests range from the scientific to the eclectic, including gourmet food, horses, art and literature, computers, species in nature, history and iron, and photography. Three generations are posting here.
Here is a selection of our pumpkin artwork this year on Halloween. LA made two, both monsters :) AREA made a wolf, LS a prison window, and PP did a warm, cozy fire. Enjoy!

Great pumpkins! This is a part of Halloween that should be adopted in sweden.
I think AREAs wolf is so cool. Howling wolves belong to dark nights, and she made the design all by herself (as did all of us in fact). I don't know why I did the jail cell.
At the moment these pumpkins look less than happy though, all black inside and rotten with top and front parts caving in. Time for compost!
