Patterns
I know there are more than a couple readers who are into patterns.
Here is a nice page about them:
Patterns
The page links to Christopher Alexander, one of my favorite people. Check it out.
Welcome to this bilingual (Swedish-English) group blog by family members living on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, "the pond". Our interests range from the scientific to the eclectic, including gourmet food, horses, art and literature, computers, species in nature, history and iron, and photography. Three generations are posting here.

Ah, SILL!
"Pattern seduces us. It is the reason that shoppers linger in the vegetable section of Whole Foods and pay extra for radishes and garlic. But it is not the radishes and garlic themselves that seduce us. It is the fact that some force created a formal unity to these veggies, each of which is unique in shape and color. Pattern creates harmony and order."
Aha, so that is why Whole Foods, one of my favorite food stores, can make me pay more! It works! I love their displays, but you are not allowed to photograph them so you won't see any photos from there on this blog.
