Strategies against architecture?

One would expect that the school of architecture would be situated in an architecturally interesting building. Well, judge for yourselves: The school of architecture in Stockholm!

"Stå grå, stå grå, stå grå, stå grå, stå grå-å-å-å. Så är gråbergs gråa sång lå-å-å-å-å-å-å-ång."
- Gustaf Fröding, "Gråbergssång".

Actually it is interesting in all its hideousness, considering what kind of education is going on behind its raw concrete walls. What were they thinking? One of the unsolved great mysteries of the world along with Atlantis, the abominable snowman, the wildlife of Loch Ness, the location of El Dorado and the sock-eating wormholes in washing machines that never swallows two socks of the same kind...

Or perhaps the building has qualities? If so, please enlighten me.

Well, at least the type face on the building is interesting. The building is just ugly, like a concrete box and nothing else. Maybe it acts like an inspiration for the students?

PS. O.K., I have long ago stopped believing that your listening choices while posting to the blog are random :)

Random? In this case it was the inspiration for the post. Cause and effect...
