Informative signs

In a little cute and old-fashioned village in New Jersey called Rosemont, you can find this sign along the street.

Now, do they warn people that there might be children that can get run over, or that you should watch out for the children in the area that might behave in unpredictable ways? Or even worse, the children might attack you! The sign is very close to the post office and the general store, and the latter is now a fantastic little cafe. Maybe I'll take EH there when she is visiting soon.

Reminds me of the sign "Kör sakta barn" (Drive slow kids) that they had nearby Barking dog plaza.

A sign like that would be more relevant today, when the neighbor's underage kids drives mopeds, cars, gocarts and what else as they like. The best episode so far was when their Epa-traktor got stuck in the mud on the farmer's field. The attempt tow it resulted in another car stuck in the mud. So, in the morning the farmer had to tow TWO cars from his field with his tractor...

I might add that it is not the farmer's kids.

I bet the farmer was VERY unhappy?

I don't know angry he was, but he pointed out that it was the horses food they were driving around in.
