Idag är det Lucia (Today is Lucia)
And to get the right feeling here too, I want to give you all this Luciatåg or Luciatrain. The picture is linked from this site about swedish holidays and handicraft.
Have a nice Lucia.

Happy Lucia! We are not celebrating this year, instead I am taking poor AREA to the doctor for a bad cold. Sniffle, sniffle!
When I drove AREA back from the Dr this morning (she has strep throat), I sang all Swedish Christmas songs I could remember aloud in the car. I am forgetting some, I need to practice more. Also, AREA has just been invited to be Lucia at a Swedish-American friend's xmas party on Dec 23. So we will get Lucia, but a little late this year. We are having an ice/snow/sleet storm too, roads are horrible. So far only one car went off the road in the usual place on the curve downhill. It happens several times every year.
Här är den dom sjunger på dagis;
Sankta Lucia, Sankta Lucia.
