Finally, some good news!

New Jersey on Monday became the first state in more than three decades to abolish the death penalty after a state commission ruled the punishment is "inconsistent with evolving standards of decency."

Finally, someone is doing the right thing, I think....

I know, we heard the news in Sweden too. It´s probably a long time since someone was killed by state authority in Sweden, I have to check with the knowledge base at home (JH that is).

I think the last executed person in Sweden was in the 1920s, unless it was that spy couple in the 1950s.
