Midsummer, today! Stamp of the Day too.

All the Swedes on this blog must be busy celebrating midsummer because there is not one post about it yet! Well, full report from the American side of midsummer soon; we are looking forward to the Swedish report too!

Have fun! Enjoy the sun, the akvavit and the herring! Sill och potatis at folket!

Stamp of the day is a typical Swedish summer picture from southern Sweden, Skane, home of Inspector Wallander. The yellow fields are flowering rapeseed (canola/raps) and the farm house is in the old traditional Danish-Scanian tradition with straw roofs.

I love this stamp! And the others in the same serie, with other landscapes. Today´s a rainy day in Sweden, so we won´t have a nice bright evening, but the sun is coming back tomorrow I hope!

Had a long nice walk in the woods, blueberries in my mouth and a nice soft path.

Are the blueberries already ripe? Isn't that very early?

EH! Thanks for the package with all the cool stamps, including this one. I hade only seen it on the screen before, never in real life.

No, there are only a few ripe blueberries here and there yet. Or maybe EH ate them all...

Like a vaccuum cleaner she is going after all the blue berries in the whole forest... I can see it plainly! :) (just kidding, EH)

haha, I could see not me but MH going around with a vaccum cleaner in the woods. The blueberries are blue only here and there. So you have to search them...
