Jag tror att det vore värt ett försök att lägga bitar och spad av surströmming eller dylikt illaluktande i deras hålor, det fungerade i alla fall på mullsork som också är ett gissel i Bergianska trädgården

Ha, PP - AnS tells us to put Swedish fermented herring in the groundhog holes! That would definitely scare most animals away, including some humans! Question is - where do you find this in the US.

buy it online!

Hmm, this company is in Sweden, in Molndal in fact, S of Gothenburg (Goteborg). I tried to add 2 cans of surstromming to my shopping cart, but the company then said that that item was not in the database. It is a seasonal item, and each year they start to sell it around August 1 I think. Anyway, if you are not allowed to bring it on a plane, how can they ship it to the US?

This site also has the best licorice and Swedish candy selection, but the shipping costs are usually higher than the costs for each item! So it is only for desperate rich people.

Fascinating. When Anders and I travelled the first summer we played a lot of Bob Dylan so it carries nice memories for me. And the typo was really nice!

Olle,

Have you heard about Themetime? It is Bob Dylan's radioshow on different themes, where he chats and plays records from his vast collection. There is a link here on the blog under Radio (see to the right). Paul and I are hooked, and Ake has heard several of them too. Before I knew PP I didn't know anything about Dylan, but now I really appreciate his music. We saw him last year in Philadelphia; he looked a bit tired.
