One minor thing left out...make the meat sauce and cook it for 6 hours!
This was about one of the best things we have made in recent memory, or was it the quails, or the Christmas ham, or the....
Hehe, sounds like the TV chefs. "And now let it simmer for 8 hours. But I have prepared some in advance..." :)
Oh, and I also made bechamel sauce, I forgot that too. It was absolutely amazing. I think the recipe was from the magazine Saveur. It took 6 hours to make and was gone in 15 min, it was that good.
