Blog-based advertising

Very interesting! If you click on the ClusterMap on the left column you can see which Google Ads that are automatically picked out for our blog based on our content. What it is varies from week to week, and right now, it was three ads for pond companies! In the past I have seen Costa Rican travel agencies, bike stores, and lots of other stuff. But I don't think we ever have had a blogpost about a pond, so they just picked that from the title of the blog. We can put Google ads on this blog too, but we don't want to, since we can't control who puts ads here. I wouldn't want to support the selling of EXXON oil, mass-produced Tyson chickens, and gas-guzzling Hummers on this blog. Now, let's see what ads are showing up on the ClusterMap tomorrow, hehe? Hummer and EXXON?

These ads do not come up on Firefox, only on the IE browser. And I have not blocked Java on Clustrmap or the pondblog sites on either browser.

I have Firefox and they come up. Maybe you have to click on show map with smaller clusters...

I checked again, and the ads come up, right above the map, but they are not images, just text. Right now there are three ads, one about funeral flowers, one about pond plants, and the last about garden flowers.
