Sweden gets a B in design?

Sweden gets a B-

While I agree with many of this person's choices I really do not agree with Sweden's grade. In fact none of the A grades would have made an A for me. I had this same problem in design school...maybe I am not cut out for that business...

But of course he doesn´t like the colors of the swedish flag, he has a picture with the wrong hue of the colors. Too murky.

well I don't think that is what he used to judge it... I think he just does not like the colors. Look at what he thinks are good colors, his number 1 pick, Gambia, I think the colors are terrible together.

I never really liked the combination of blue and yellow, not since I was a kid. I accept it is the Swedish colors, but I much prefer other color combinations.

And I agree that he has some weird color combinations in his A-list - just look at South Africa. That is too many colors. I like Japan and United Kingdom, and also France and Italy.

I agree with you, PP. South Africa an A? And some of the "rules" doesn't make sense. "Don't use a tricolor unless in Europe"?

Looking at his lists, it is apparent I don't share his taste. I find flags I like in all grades. Bhutan, a grade F, is pretty cool. Unfortunately some of the best ones are not used anymore like USSR's, or my overall favorite, the japanese naval flag of WWII (from an aesthetically point of view of course). The swedish flag is pretty dull, the naval three pointed version is better. The worst version ever must be the Swedish-Norwegian Union flag, nicknamed "the herring salad".
