Amazing and saddening - I just read this story on another blog. What have we humans done?
The reach of carelessness is far indeed. Consequences, even if as direct as this, seem to mean little when they are this distant. Photos like this can hopefully bridge that distance and make a small difference. Even if only for a few dozen spectacular birds.
I am sure these photos will get used in one of my science lessons some day. Thank you for the awareness.
