Cherry blossoms
This I made the other day, I´m embroidering napkins for the dinner table. I made out the pattern as I stitched, this is how it came out. More pictures here on Flickr
Welcome to this bilingual (Swedish-English) group blog by family members living on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, "the pond". Our interests range from the scientific to the eclectic, including gourmet food, horses, art and literature, computers, species in nature, history and iron, and photography. That is lovely! You did it free hand?
I love it, it is wonderful. Reminds me of the 'Körsbärsdalen' (Cherry Valley) in Bröderna Lejonhjärta (Brothers Lionheart) by Astrid Lindgren.
Thank you Sandy! Yes, I did it all by free hand, I googled cherry blossom art to get inspiration but the design is all mine. Sometimes the stitches have their own will! :) but I like this.
Glad you like it LS!
