more rock hard legs
EH's post below reminded me of these hard legs made out of marble, not concrete. Marble is as hard as concrete, but somehow word feels softer, why is that? The photo is from a statue at Duke Gardens (link here):

Marble- I think it has a lighter feel because it´s so smooth. Marble can also warm up in the sun, it´s so much more dense than concrete. It´s almost like varm skin then. And of course, marble is a natural material, not like concrete which is a manmade-mix which looks bad when its broken. Broken marble is still beautiful.
