Spiders are such fascinating creatures. I don't like them moving around me, but I can appreciate all their details and beauty too. Honestly, I am kind of afraid of big spiders, but if I don't have to have them on my body I am OK. This spider reminds me of canoeing in Sweden, and they used to drop into the canoe when you had to paddle through reed ('vass') and sedges ('starr').
