Prowling around in our garden
A praying mantis is on the prowl in the cup plants (Silphium).
And after the meal, all that is left is a wing of the swallowtail butterfly.
They are incredible. We have two, different species, that like to hangout in the cup plants, and I bet there are lots of pollinators visiting that might be good prey....
