Stamp of the Day: Mumin / Moomin
I find stamps of some of the characters from the books of Moominsuitable today.
I think you are mistaken. Her brother co-wrote the newspaper cartoon and it might have been done solely by him in the later years, but the books are illustrated by Tove.
I love Tove Jansson! But I think it was her brother that did the illustrations and she wrote the stories. More Mumintrolls!

ReplyDeleteNow find me some hattifnatt-stamps!
OK, I am wrong, again ! :P
ReplyDeleteStamps of hattifnatts might not be that easy. Give me a few days.
If you were a Moomin, what character would you be?
ReplyDeletePS. No hattifnatts on stamps found yet. I doubt they exist. We will have to make our own stamps for that.
ReplyDeleteI wish I was a Snusmumrik (Snufkin?), but in reality I'm probably a mixture of Hemulen and a hattifnatt I'm afraid...
ReplyDeleteHow do you envis9ion that strange hybrid, Hemulen x hattifnatt? That seems like an impossible combination. Or is it just an electrifed Hemul?
ReplyDeleteThere you have something to ponder over. :)
