I actually used to take a lot of bird pics when I was younger..but with my 50mm lens they are little specs on the frame. So yes it does have something to do with the lens...and its nice with the 4/3 format where a 300mm is in 35mm terms a 600mm!
The metallic color on the tree swallows are amazing! I like PP's new interest in birds too. It means I get to go to cool places with great company! Like the Great Swamp and Brigantine.
